How Charleston Event Restrooms works

Charleston Event Restrooms is a free local matching service. You tell us about your project once, and we pass it to a vetted local pro who works in your area.

  1. Tell us about your eventDate, guest count, venue, hours and whether alcohol is served. About two minutes.
  2. We match you with a local companyWe pass your request to one local restroom rental company that serves your venue, usually within one business day.
  3. Get availability and a quoteThey confirm your date, recommend the right setup and give you a written quote. You decide.

What we are, and what we are not

  • We are a referral service. We are not a contractor or rental company, we don't do the work, and we don't hold any trade license.
  • Free for you. The pro may pay us a referral fee if you hire them. You never pay us, and the fee is never added to your price by us.
  • No obligation. Get the quote, ask questions, compare with anyone else. You decide.
  • Limited sharing. Your request goes to one pro for your trade, or two if the first can't help. We don't sell your details to lists or marketers. See Privacy.

How we vet pros

Before we send any requests to a business, we ask for and check:

  • The business name, owner and service area
  • Required business licenses for their location
  • Proof of liability insurance
  • Equipment that matches what they quote (trailer size, ADA units)
  • A written quote with delivery, setup, servicing and pickup terms, and agreement to our no-pressure rules

Vetting reduces risk but is not a guarantee. Always get a written quote, check the business's current license and insurance yourself, and read the contract before you sign. Ask any rental company for a certificate of insurance; many venues require one before delivery.

Questions to ask before you hire

  • Is my date available, and how long do you hold it?
  • What's included: delivery, setup, attendant, supplies, pickup?
  • Do you supply a generator or water tank if the site doesn't have them?
  • How close to the event can the trailer be parked, and what ground does it need?
  • Are mileage or travel fees extra?
  • How many stalls or units do you recommend for my guest count and hours?
  • What is your deposit and cancellation policy?
